Follow these simple tips to keep your Leather in top condition:

Leather is a natural product and will require care to maintain the natural beauty of the hide.

Regularly dust leather

Nourish and Condition Leather Furniture

There are many suitable cleaning products that can be used to wipe down leather furniture and cushions. Saddle soap effectively removes built-up dirt and dust while also improving the appearance of the leather.

To prevent liquid stains, dab any liquid spills with a soft white cloth dampened in soda water or lukewarm distilled water. Never use regular tap water.

If a stain goes unnoticed and penetrates the leather, use a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm distilled water to massage the stain and surrounding area.

Use a soft cloth like a chamois or a soft sponge to prevent scratches or abrasions on the leather

As you clean the leather, wipe lightly and in one direction.

Clean with a dry cloth and let the leather air-dry.

Don’t:

Don’t place leather in direct sunlight. Remember the sun acts as a natural bleaching agent. Over time, leather will lighten or discolor in natural sunlight.

Don’t place leather on or near heat sources. Heat can cause leather to crack and become brittle.

Remember:

For minor or slight scratches on the surface of leather, use a chamois to gently buff the scratch. Friction and heat from rubbing helps redistribute the wax in the surrounding area to cover the scratch. This technique may not work on deep scratches.
